Glad the BC wines held up their heads.
What did your group say when you told them they'd be tasting BC wines? Probably 'British what...isn't that somewhere near Brazil...?"
BTW, that's Tinhorn Creek, not Tintown, but I'm sure the light was low and the note-takers less keen by that point in the evening....;-)

Thanks for the notes John. I wonder if you (or Bill) can tell me whether the Blue Mountain was the stripe (reserve) or cream label. I would have thought that the stripe label from 98 would still be holding well.

It was the regular label, Tim.
I haven't noted any significant difference in ageability between the regular and stripe lable (reserve) wines from Blue Mountain. In fact, although the latter is a selection and intended to have some additional complexity, I have found with age that I actually prefer some of the regular label wines!
