(Note to my retailer.)
My Want list:
Wines I like to have occasionally to frequently:
Taurasi Radici (Riserva and non-Riserva, Mastroberardino) Avulisi and the other Santa Tresa wines Aglianico del Vulture (D'Angelo) Il Falcone (Rivera) Velletri Regaleali Nero d'Avola Hofstätter De Vite (one of his bottlings of Pinot Grigio) Rocca Rubia Carignano (Santadi) Dolcetto di Dogliani (Chionetti) Dolcetto d'Alba Colombè (Renato Ratti) Valtellina (Lombardia) Barbera (by Bruno Giacosa or Guasti Clemente or Elio Altare) Copertino Patriglione Primitivo Ramitello Amarone Morellino di Scansano (not the cheap stuff, the good stuff) Orvieto Classico (Barberini)
Wines I would like to be available all the time:
Inexpensive Sicilian Nero d'Avola from any good producer, including blends such as Fourplay. Sella & Mosca and Argiolas wines Copertino & Salice Salentino Primitivo Notarpanaro Sicilian whites
You'll notice there are no Chiantis. You always have a lot of Chianti and Tuscan wine, very little of which appeals to me, except stuff like Selvapiana Chianti Rufina and Poliziano Vino Nobile. I would never buy a Super Tuscan when I can buy a great, even fairly expensive Nero d'Avola or Taurasi Riserva or Patriglione. I have tried some of the Tuscan IGT wines you have and found them not to be too good.
