Um, who's the producer on the Le Clos? As a rule, I tend to like my (very occasional) GC Chablis with 10+ years (or right on release), but producer makes a difference.

I'll leave it for others to comment on the Joly, as I'm really not a fan (sorry Mike T!).

To which I'll add that '03 was a freakish year in Chablis as it was most everwhere in Europe, and most general rules about drinking times are inapplicable. My guess (having studiously avoided buying any '03s) is that GC Chablis will be the most affected by the heat and drought, being at the higher points, and so will be especially soft and flabby -- unless the vines shut down early, in which case they may taste unripe. I'd expect them to age more rapidly than Dale's rule would predict, though when they'll be at their most attractive is hard for me to say...
