This is not a "for-profit" tasting, just the reasonable cost of the wine, together with a special dinner in a private room with Gustavino (subway) ceilings. Vanderbilt Station is a great new restaurant. Most of the attendees will be friends, with a few members of the general public.
We will be drinking every Mouton from 1981 through and including 1990, including the legendary 1982 and 1986. Plus champagne and a dessert wine, the 1988 Rieussec. Food courses will include foie gras, cheeses, grilled lamb chops, grilled duck breast, and side dishes.
