I had some Bonny Doon Big House White the other night... A very good white wine for $10, and a screw top to boot!
Bonny Doon is characteristically controversial. I bought a case of it today.
It's a nice light wine with a fairly broad palate and long fruity finish. It's a blend of several different grapes. Just a hint of sweetness. Nice finish with honey and pear.
I got some just to be different. I can't wait to see friends faces when they "unscrew" the bottle.
