Hi All -- I'm a homebrewer in Chicago who is thinking about making wine. Against the advice of most, I'd like to start making wine from grapes instead of a kit and would like to talk to some people about the the right way to make a first batch of wine and how to get grapes and such in the Chicago area. A wine making club seems the right forum for this sort of thing, and I was wondering if people around here knew of a Chicago wine making club I could pester.
