Is there a way to get they gas out of wine after it's bottled? I would search the archives for this as I'm sure it's been discussed before but I don't know how.
TIA Frances

Vac-U-Vin.

Do you mean after reinserting the cork after drinking a class? Then vac-u-vin like Tom says.
Or di you mean that you did not degass and have fizzy wine when you open it? Then pour a glass, and vac-u-vin....or decant and let it settle. There was an article about that in the last wine maker actually.
FYI....
Vacu Vin is a brand name of one wine bottle vacuum pump. There are several others (only one I remember is EpiVac or something).
For VacuVin see
and YES it works!
