After planting about 50 grape vines this spring I have realized that about half of them are in an area which does not drain as well as I thought. I am thinking of raising the plants several inches using elevated rows. Can this be done in the fall after the plants have lost their leaves and will they survive the winter? These are primarily Niagara and Concord grapes in Northeast Ohio. Any help would be most appreciated...Those of you with well-draining loam soils, count your blessings. Lon Dittrick
