Looking for spruce beer recipe

I have for a long time wanted to make spruce beer with real twigs. I am looking an recipe. Thanks in advance

These "antique" recipes use molasses instead of barley malt... probably not what we'd call "beer" these days:

Bottom line is that there seems to be a whole lot of different recipes and ways to use them... but there seem to be a lot of ways to make it taste like PineSol too! :(
