Software for Homebrew/Winemaking Shop

Dec 27, 2006 1 Replies

Hi all,

I'm in the process of setting up a PC to put in the local homebrew/winemaking shop, so folks can formulate recipes, look at other customers' recipes, etc in the store. I'm a beer brewer, myself, and there's several very good free pieces of software I use on a regular basis for my recipe formulation and calculations. But I've never made wine, and I haven't come up with any free software for winemakers in my googling around. Anyone here use anything in particular? Native linux/unix software would be preferable, but I can probably convince windows software to run if I have to.

Thanks, Jeremy

I use Amphora by Fermsoft at my winery (750 cases/year). Very affordable, pretty versatile ... open source, multiple platforms. Might not be for you, tho....
