Special Arcosteel Corkscrew Auction to Benefit the Tsunami Victims

Jan 04, 2005 1 Replies

I am selling an Arcosteel corkscrew that was originally given to me as a Christmas present but I've never used (mainly because I already have at least two other corkscrews). The corkscrew is still in its original box. The corkscrew has a $1 minimum bid with no reserve. 100% of the proceeds from this auction will directly go to UNICEF, one of the many organizations that is providing relief to the victims of the recent tsunami.

I'm also selling three dolls--all of which were customized by me--for a $5 minimum bid. Like the corkscrew, these dolls are also being sold to raise money for UNICEF.

The highest bidders on each of my auctions will not only have the pleasure of doing good for people who have lost so much recently but each bidder will also receive a tax write-off.

So please bid as much as you can afford. God bless you and happy bidding!

Friends, go ahead and send contributions directly to UNICEF, Red Cross, CARE, WorldVision, or other charitable organizations. The IRS would not let you deduct the full amount of the auction price if you got something (i.e., a corkscrew) in return.
