Has anyone in NY (or any other state) gone thru the application process to open a small winery? I'm talking about 3-5000 gallons per year. I realize it is a very complicated and long process but I would like to hear about anyones experiences or even list the steps. Thanks in advance.

That would be nice to know, does anyone have a list of the steps for NY? along with possible costs?
Not the best of times to be asking questions of this nature. I tend to stick to winemaking discussions until crush is complete. Suspect that other small winery owners are doing the same.
