That's the way it's always tasted to me. Quail Springs is the one disappointing Deschutes beer I've experienced. Never been impressed, in part because of that grassy character.

I've had QS in the past and always found it rather nice tasting because of the sweetness of the malt. The 6 pack I just bought has none of that nice malty goodness. I don't know what's going on here but...the bottles I bought had the "best" best buy date I've had to date. Maybe this one actually tastes better when it isn't that fresh??

I wonder what my Full Sail IPA vintage 1997 is gonna taste like. Grassy, hoppy, spoiled, poisonous? 'Bout time I found out.
