I know I'm coming off as Cain's ambassador in cyberspace recently, (I'm not, BTW) but there was a good Ray Gosling prog about the brewery & the brothers Dusanj on Radio 4 today, at 11am. I know, too late, but you should be able to 'Listen Again' at the BBC website. Also had a bit from Roer Protz (now *he* might be Cain's ambassador to the world).
it seems to be here,
There was a few factual errors, more communication glitches really - the brewery did canning (& contract-brewing/canning) long before the brothers bought the place, and I've yet to see the Co-op's own-brand Cain's-brewed canned real ales :~)
The kerfuffule about Cain's not being allowed to join the IFBB was dealt with briefly, by RG & RP agreeing that it's because the Dusanj's aren't in the old school tie / shooting & hunting brigade that make up many of the older family breweries (i.e. & not necessarily racism per se, as that wasn't mentioned).
The brothers came across very well - enthusiastic, honest, hardworking, and all in the unexpectedly 'estuary English' tones, from growing up in the middle of Kent. cheers, MikeMcG.
