I have a campaign button badge with the wording "Save Fullers Real Hock" printed over an outline of a tankard. Can anyone enlighten me on the meaning of "Real Hock"?
TIA

Fullers Hock is (or should that be was) a seasonal brew ABV 3.5. It's not currently mentioned on their web site, but here's a reference to it:

From the 1977 GBG : 'Hock; 1031.5 - a dark malty mild.' Long gone, of course.

Thank you for the info. I am assuming that this badge dates to the late 1970s or early 80s. There is no mention of Hock in the earliest GBG of 1985 that I have.

It was a most enjoyable draft mild, alas no more.
Not quite. It seems to be occasionally still brewed as part of Fuller's seasonal Festivals. I enjoyed a superb pint of Fullers Hock in The Square in Petersfield in October. I rated it my most enjoyable pint of 2006.
