question about soaking pistachios in vodka to make a nutty beer with the essence

Hi, I've set some 2 cups of pistachios soaking in about 250ml of vodka but it appears to have all soaked into the nuts now. I put the (hopefully) airtight container in the fridge, would this have affected anything? (Was that a bad idea?)

I need to leave them for a few weeks before draining the essence, or more likely squeezing the essence out of them. I was thinking maybe I could put them through a juicer, do you think that would work?
