Hello everyone,
A friend of mine and I both love beer and tasting new brands... And we've decided to try and make our own beer, in small quantities, just to try, and in time to try to improve.
But we have a problem. :) We live in Croatia, Europe, where homebrewing beer isn't very popular. Everyone here just makes wine, and althoug beer itself is very popular, everyone just buys it.
So how do we make beer? Can anyone help us in making a list of things we need? Some of the required stuff we can probably buy here, and ordering online isn't such a big problem... We just need to know what the esseintial equipment is and also the ingredients. I've read something about "kits", but don't like the idea of mixture being prepared and ready. We want to experiment :)
For now, we have a bottle capper and bottles :) But we lack beer :) And need it :)
So anyway... please help us and give us a list:
-of equipment (basics for now, not some non-neccesary fancy stuff)
-of ingredients
-and a few recipes perhaps? He have to start somewhere. :)
