can anyone give me any info on how to prevent yeastbite?

Afraid not, but I guess it depends on your definition of "yeast bite". High fermentation temps will increase the fruitiness of the beer and in extreme cases will enhance the formation of fusel alcohols, which will give the beer a solventy, "rocket fule" flavor. Yeast bite is usually caused by not allowing enough fermentation and conditioning time for the yeast to finish and drop out.
