Greetings...just a note to let you know about upcoming beer tastings at 99 Bottles...

Wednesday, March 21st Harmon Brewing of Washington host: Mike Davis, brewmaster sample four Harmon brews from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 25th Mendocino Brewing of California host: Bill Hemmen, Mendocino's NW Rep sample four (possibly five//5th pending availability from distributor) Mendocino brews from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 18th Dick's Brewing of Washington host: Derek Wilmot, Dick's Brewing Company sample five of Dick's brews and their pepperoni...

Tasting events are $1/person with valid ID. Feel free to ask the host questions during the event, browse the ever-growing inventory, and pick up a favorite or new brew by the bottle or mix your own six packs.

When you guys get the brewers from Alesmith, Pelican, Moylans and Bell's, I'll pony up my dollar :)

So I did pony up my dollar for this event and was not dissappointed. This is a much-needed beer store in the area, and although the selection wasn't quite as good as Bottleworks, there was plenty of interesting beers to choose from. Most notably were the Eastern European beers that I haven't seen other places, although there was a wide range of styles from all over the world (but if your a Bud/Miller drinker than I suggest you stay away).
