My friend recently introduced me to Del Mar. It's similar to Corona and I actually found it to be better than Corona. I've been searching for a distributor or importer of this beer, but have been unsuccessful. Can anyone provide me with any further information on this brand?

LMAO! However, even I found a particular fondness towards the extreme "skunkiness" of Corona. But then again I am *the* beer peasant!

LOL! Really! If you were surprised that you found Del Mar to be better than Corona, I can't wait until you come across some of the fine US microbrews or the imports from Germany and England.

Actually, I did find one mex beer even worse than Corona ...Sol! This one store had it on sale for half price. After one sip, I understood why. Sol is also in clear glass bottles and after spitting the skunked-to-the-death swill out, I put the almost full bottle back in the carton, walked out to the parking lot, and dropped the sixer-minus-one-sip in the dumpster, never to consider that brew again.
Right now I'm enjoying a sixer of Drake's IPA (gold, '02 GABF) with a couple Belgian's chilling for dessert. One is Gulden Draak Ale, which I've never tried. The other is Petrus Triple Ale, an absolutely fantastic beer, one of the best Belgians I've ever tried.

And Canada ! Don't forget dear old Canada, home of Le Cheval Blanc, Hek (3 kinds !) and the incomparable Sleeman's! And Alexander Keith IPA !!!
