In a viticultural text I recently read the following: "exessive watering can severely delay fruit ripening on grape vines."
My grapes are ripening, and will be ready for harvest soon. I would like to understand the vines better.
Can anyone provide detailed information (or refer me to detailed information), on the how water affects vine morphology during ripening, and what too much water actually does, or how less water influences or improves grape ripening?
