I'm just sippin on a Lovin Lager. A *very* nice little pilsner from Oregon that uses Czech Saaz Hops.
I also have a bottle of their Wooly Bully Lager and Paddle Me IPA. Something tells me that I'm going to enjoy them.
Best regards, Bill

Quick summary: The IPA is all hops no malt. Thumbs down. The Wooly Bully is blah. A big promise of hearty malt flavour. I can't taste it.

hang in there dude, there are others to try.
Bill,
Many thanks for your reviews. They give many good ideas! ..though maybe not for these particular beers.

Thanks a bunch. My "reviews" are anything but detailed and scientific but I'm hoping that these quick summaries are of some use, to somebody.(at least as far as my tastes are concerned) Always, and I do mean always, remember that ymmv. Cheers!
Best regards, Bill
Hey, they're in Oregon..what'd ya expect? :)
Yeah, it's kind of just a marketing thing more than a good beer. They make a spruce that AFAIAC is the best spruce beer I've tried..not that that says much! I think they make some really good lagers, but most of the time you'll only find them on tap at their pub. I had an absolutely killer bock there before.

Hehe...This is the first IPA that I can't detect any malt what so ever...I can't say that about the other Oregonian IPAs that I've tried. Or for any other IPAs I've tried. (Redhook IPA comes close)
Best regards, Bill
