Point beers

I have not had any variety of Point since college - which was the early 90's for me. I actually went to college in Stevens Point, WI where it's made. It was regarded as a cheap, get ya drunk, beer. Recently however, they've introduced some hand crafted varieties - a Pale Ale, a White, an Amber and something else. Last night I tried the White and today I'm having a couple of their Pale Ales. All I can say is "fantastic". I really am enjoying the Pale Ale. It's an American Pale for sure, but it's very refreshing. The White was great as well - nice clean finish - and when poured in a glass is one of the "whitest" beers I've ever seen.

Great Stuff - do yourself a favor and get some if you see it.

Haven't had the pale ale, I should look again and see if its one I missed on the shelf. Of the ones I tried (Classic Amber, Special lager, Spring Bock, James Page Amber, and the White), I thought the White was by far the best.

Had the pale not too far back. Was inoffensively average, bit hoppy, nothing too exciting.
