‘Prohibition Party’ Saturday at Rhinegeist

Jan 17, 2014 0 Replies

Rhinegeist Brewery in Over-the-Rhine will be the setting for a Prohibition Party this Saturday.

The event has been a pub crawl, ending at Arnold’s, for the last few years; however, it’s gotten so big that holding it in one place made more sense, according to Chris Anderson, one of the organizers.

Those attending the party, which starts at 8 p.m., are encouraged to dress in their “Roaring Twenties best;” there’s even a “Flapper/Dapper Contest” for the best costumes.

The Cincy Brass will perform, and Rhinegeist beers will be for sale. They’re hoping to get a food truck, too.

Admission is free.

Rhinegeist is at 1910 Elm St.

Visit the event’s Facebook page for more information.
