My wife bought me a bottle of the aformentioned beer for my birthday. I kind of loath the idea of drinking it all in one sitting, and would like to know if anybody has left Utopias sitting around after opening the bottle. I figure with such a high alchol content, and the fact that it is not carbonated, ther should not be much of a problem. But how long will it last,, a couple of days, weeks, years?

days for sure, weeks probably OK, years not likely.
basically since its not carbonated, use a wine vaccuum stopper to slow down oxidation, and it should keep for a few weeks with noticeable oxidized flavors.
Drink it all with friends and they will remember you....
I split a bottle with 2 other friends a couple weeks ago and I'll definitley remember it, not just because its so damn expensive but because it was pretty damn tasty as well.
Prior to the Utopias we revisited 2 years worth of 3 years worth of triple bock and they were all pretty much as bad as I remembered. The Utopias was excellent however a much better example of a super high gravity beer.
