The Maxwell's Plum 60 beer on tap, and over 100 bottled beer to choose from!

If you're a true beer lover don't miss this place if you're in the area. We stayed at the Hotel right across the street by fluke which is how we found out about this pub. There are a ton of hotels within walking distance, and you'll probably want to be close because it is hard to stop drinking at 1 or

2 on tap beer when there are so many to choose from.

The grub wasn't bad at all either for the price and amount received.

We're planning on going back during the Summer months, and go on one of the famous pub crawls we heard about.

This post might've been believeable if it wasn't for the fact you've posted only four messages in your history and they are all the same message praising this place (in different newsgroups).

Thanks for the info. Halifax was bitterly cold, so I was thinking the whole thing would be a better experience in the Summer months. The open windows sound great. Beer and breeze who could ask for more!

Do people accuse you of being paranoid often? I don't own the place, was only there and thought I pass the info on because I liked it so much. Sure I want them to do well, want them to be there in the Summer.

beerluver, believe it or not LOL.

No, they don't. Do they call you a spammer often?

In one day, you pop up out of nowhere (no previous messages anywhere) and cut and paste the same message in five different newsgroups, praising this place. And not just ordinary praise, like a real person, but something that sounds more like a radio spot.

Keep trying.

LOL. Well I've never heard of anyone being whined to death, so I guess your hope is still a likely one. :-)

And I never heard of a casual beer review that included hotels.

It was a very poor one at that. Without opening up a web browser, I have no way even of knowing if the pace is down the block or halfway around the world, and there was nothing even approaching a description that would inform members of this community on issues they care about. In short, it read like a bad attempt at spamming.

Indeed. How hard is it to put the words "Halifax" and "Canada" in a post?

I guess if I ever find myself stuck in Halifax (why?), I can go find me what looks like a multitap with way too many mediocre beers (InBev and other megabrew crap) on tap, as well as the hilarity of viewing Quebec as a foreign country (as in "import draught"). The bottle list is even less inspiring. Perhaps I'm spoiled; my local has only one-third the number of taps (plus a bartop cask on Thursdays), and the bottled list is good and will probably get even better in the coming year. But hell, I'm biased. It *is* my local, after all. Even better, I don't have to endure winter in the Maritimes.

You're being too kind.
