Going to visit my brother for a week and was wondering where I can find the good stuff. Beer bar, brewery, deli, supermarket. Anyone have suggestions? Preference for German pilsners, and dunkels. But drink all kinds.
Where can i get good beer in Jacksonville FL

I have a beer-savvy friend who now lives in Jacksonville.
He tells me the nearest decent beer is in North Carolina or Virginia. He loads up a trunkload to take home when he comes back to Maryland to visit his folks.
Based on my (admittedly limited and by now outdated) visits to N.C., S.C., and Georgia, I'm inclined to think he has a point.
Worst part is, he's a competent homebrewer, but he never has the patience to age the stuff adequately.

Georgia recently repealed it's 6% (IIRC) ABV law, so real beer is now flowing into the Atlanta area. Haven't been there recently, but have heard that plenty of good stuff is coming in. As for FL, there are a couple of great places in the Tampa area (Beverage Castle in Temple Terrace and World of Beer in Clearwater), but I think most of the rest of the state is an A-B wasteland.
