beer in a box anybody

IME they'll keep up to about a fortnight if kept pretty cool, outside in a garage works for me at this time of year. What you buy depends on what you like but you might find buying in person from the brewery gate much cheaper than the advertised prices for these boxes. I bought a polypin of one of my favourite bitters at Christmas for £38 by going to the brewery in person, find one near you and give them a ring

Or if you have a friendly landlord, who sells the beer you're after, get the brewery to deliver to the pub and pick it up there. As a neighbour of mine did for a bbq he had. The landlord even stored it in the cellar so it was nice and cool.

It only lasted the night though :)

yeah, that's the problem with this sort of beer,it just doesn't keep :) KeithS
