Belfast dark stuff n steaks

As mentioned some time ago, went to Belfast for a conference. Bass was flat, Guinness seemed thin and the Magners was cider. Music in Robinsons was excellent and the Crow, when t eventually opened, was an eye-opener. Food was excellent; Chinese, Indian and English - all close to the Crown. Sirloin steaks rare; succulent Irish beef - but maybe the tradition of leaving in the top gristle in, is an Irish one? (Sadly) orange juice acceptable. Never looked for Wetherspoons - kept hoping for a better Guinness.
