Has Blackburn Brewery been revived? I thought it disappeared in 1999 (according to at any rate). But one of our local landlords is promising us a cask of "Blackburn Brewery Porter" later this week. What can it be?
I don't think it's a Thwaites product - no such beer listed on their website.

Off the top of my head, being from Blackburn, I'd guess it's a Thress B's beer?
It was indeed from the Three B's Brewery, and a fine beer too. Went down very well with a lot of younger drinkers who don't normally care to try dark beers - they were persuaded to sample it by the argument that it's "a bit like Guinness, only much better"!
