Bottled Beers

The recent posts on the subject of bottled beers came to mind when I was clearing the drinks cabinet. I don't usually drink at home. I found,

1 x John Willys 1991 No gravity
2 x John Willys 1994 11.5 ABV
1 x Courage Royal Wedding Ale 1973 No Gravity.
1 x Bass Pale Ale Says imported from UK (No date or gravity)
2 x Walkers Commemorative Ale 1996 6.2 ABV (Probably Wild Rover of glorious memory) (Last beer from brewery) What should I drink? What should I try to sell? What should I sling? TIA

Dave, sorry but these beers are all rubbish now, best thing you can do is pass them on to me to try to keep the slugs off my tomatoes, I won't take anything from you for providing this disposal service, but you will obviously have to pay the postage & a corkage charge. ;~) cheers & HTH Mike

OK, in seriousness, if they're all 6%ers or more, they should be worth opening on some nice occasion (having a spare in case it's awful is a good idea tho, as I found out to my cost with my long-awaited aged magnum of chimay blue last year :~( I don't know about the Courage 1973 one tho - it depends on abv, bottling & storage conditions, etc.

if you don't put 'em on eBay, let us know how they turn out? M
