Just watching Look East..... the Kings Head in Southwold has banned young children. Good! It has also banned vinegar. Better! Now it's banned pints! Wot! The landlord has been given notice. JL

He's only been running the pub since July.

He sounds a right pretentious git actually. Today's report in the Morning Advertiser has him saying that he's got a nice wooden bar top and he doesn't want it spoilt by spilt beer, drip trays or beer mats. I'll give him six months.

(as John said above), the brewery seem to have been less generous than
6 months!oddly enough, I agree with *some* of the reasoning - he says that pints are messy because they're brim-fill & it's difficult to not to spill some.
