Well I've tried one of the Discworld beers that was mentioned on this ng some weeks ago. The beers (there seems to be three in the range) are all bottle conditioned but by different breweries. "Old Kingdom" at 5% ABV originates from Iceni brewery and is a classic example of a potentially great beer spoilt by over-conditioning. The bottle hadn't been disturbed for a week but as soon as the cap was lifted, a torrent of froth was exhaled from the bottle shaking up all the sediment. The beer itself was light in colour with a hoppy citrus bite. What a pity the over-conditioning ruined what was a potentially fine ale.
