Bombardier Mini Cask

It was promoted as being available in Safeway but my local stores have never to my knowledge stocked it. You can probably get a much better deal from your local beer-specialist or micro.

I rang the number 01234 761004 in the What’s Brewing advert for Wells Bombardier in 5 litre Minicask form, to see what it would cost to get one to take to friends I shall be staying with over New Year.

In case you are interested, you can order a pair of minicasks at just over £29 (credit or debit cards OK), delivered by courier within two days, or at £25.03 for two if you collect from brewery reception. If you order to collect, phone a day or two before to ensure they have them ready for you and be prepared to pay cash – no cards or cheques accepted.

They don’t sell the casks one-off, but have over 100 currently stacked up at the brewery – best before date third week January. I work out that
