We called at the Tan Hill Inn last week. That's the pub that claims to be the highest in the UK, up near the N Yorks/Cumbria border. It's under new management, and apparently there's going to be some sort of Country & Western cum Folk event next weekend. Camping £1 pppn. Could be OK if the weather's decent. Beer was fine when we called anyway.
