Any good? Any others?

Thanks in advance.

Was very good but also very expensive.

Excellent! Note traditional means of acquiring a deposit for Kwak glasses.

Never found it open so can't say.

Even when I last visited I found it was overrated.

Nice place but I don't like genever.

Yes that was OK.

Yes - is the Galge Huisje (Little Gallows House) still there? Titchy but friendly, good food and beer.

There was also one of the restaurants in the shadow of the cathedral that did decent beer van't vat. Oh yes and the restaurant in the basement of the Town Hall.

I take it you mean the metre length glasses?

In which case, take off shoe, put it in bucket, see bucket being hoisted to the ceiling, listen to bell being rung when bucket reaches ceiling, drink your beer, hand back the glass to the bar staff, wait for bucket to descend, take shoe and put it back on.

If you can still see it :-))
