How clean is your pub?

I've used this site for years. Most places get 4/5 out of 5. Anywhere that gets 2 or 1 should be avoided for food or drink.

A score of 5 can be achieved with a normal common sense hygiene regime.

I have used that kebab shop, the one with 1/5, for years and never had any stomach problems. The Chinese takeaway, with 0/5, is the same. It could be that I have a strong stomach.

I am surprised at the pub I mentioned only having a 2/5. It is a Wetherspoon's and I expect them to get 4 or 5 out of 5.

A pub or restaurant in a National chain is ONLY as good as its local management. Wetherspoon like to give the illusion of a chain of well run pubs but at times they do have some dire examples in their family. Luckily for them lazy management doesn't often stay in place too long.
