The Keighley and Worth Valley Rail;way, which operates the only Good Beer Guide Listed Railway Buffet Car in the country, is celebrating the 40th annivesary of its re-opening in preservation this weekend.

As part of the celbratory gala to be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday they are holding a beer festival in the Oxenhope Exhibition shed, with up to forty beers on tap. This includes the 40th anniversary Ruby Ale which is being brewed by Elland Brewery.

In addition there is an intensive steam service between Keighley and Oxenhope with up to 11 engines and steam and main line shuttles between Keighley and Settle Junction, which are steam hauled in the Northbound direction.

Real ale will be available on most trains.
