Kent pub report

On a rare country outing we were on our way to another GBG pub when I almost drove past the Halfway House in Brenchley - what a great place. All beers gravity dispensed, and the local Goachers Fine Light was superb. Food good too. Living in central London it's easy to forget how it's done right.

Wow - someone else who drinks in Kent here - I thought it was just me!!

You might also like the Shipwright's Arms in Faversham & the Red Lion in Snargate too !! (Oh - don't forget the FILO in Hastings Old Town)

And the Old House near Ightham. Talking of this area, what's the score with the Golding Hop (Plaxtol) nowadays?

That was for sale last I heard.

There were rumours but at present it is business as usual.
