NERAX?

Apr 26, 2004 3 Replies

I'm about to attend the New England Real Ale Exhibition out here in Boston, and looking over the list of attending English breweries below. I've had Fuller's, Young's, Adnams, and Hop Back. I've only heard of Oakham and Dark Star. The rest I don't know at all.

Do you have any opinions which ones I should be most excited about? Which ones I should be wishing for?

Answers will vary, depending on what sort of beer you like and which particular beer(s) they have from any given brewery.

I have certainly enjoyed beers from Oakham, Rooster's and Hop Back recently.

I particularly like beers from:

Oakham Rooster's Eastwood & Sanders

but I'd give all of those a good tasting!

All breweries capable of producing beers of note, my personal preference would be for something from Roosters, Oakham, Hop Back, Camerons (assuming it's Strongarm) Eastwood & Sanders taken in that order.
