Given that Pakistanis are Muslims and neither drink alcohol nor visit places where it's sold, I suspect you won't have encountered many.
No shortage of racists in pubs though.

They're either getting pissed, harassing white girls and driving western cars full of 'bling' one day, or planing bombings against those sort of "anti-Islam" things the next.

I used to live in Hounslow, and there always seemed to be some pretty lax Muslims in the JDW on Bath Rd.
You get those in every Muslim community. You will hear it said that the Koran forbids alcohol, that it forbids only wine, that doesn't forbid but advises moderation, and thirty-six other variants. A Muslim colleague says all are equally valid; he wouldn't be drawn on how valid that was. He observed the Ramadan fast until the sun had set on Mecca and then went to the pub.
I got a translation of the Koran and found it unspecific to the point of incomprehensible: I'm told that if you get any two translations they won't agree on even a general meaning of any passage. No wonder there's a worldwide industry of attributing meanings to the Koran.
