Fancied a few scoops last night - called in the Spoons in Piccadilly, Manchester - only to be confronted by the exceedingly grumpy (face like a bulldog licking piss of a thistle) barmaid who informed us they had no bitter of any kind whatsoever. JEEZ! WTF?
Maybe she'd drunk it all on a gondola on the Rochdale Canal.

I had a similar experience in Weston-super-Mare earlier this year, on a Sunday lunchtime.
They were also refusing to serve customers who weren't queueing in the correct place, so I went elsewhere.
