Something good has happened at Tonghams because I remember when my local had every clip full of Tonghams stuff and it was all as bland as a condom stuffed with walnuts. But this seems very nice. Very full- flavoured and hoppy.

Indeed he did - it was Clive James. Another of my favourite similes about beer is comparing it to a 'fart in a space suit'. That's a Billy Connolly One.
