You leave a bottle WHERE??? Sacrilege!
Personally, I love a good pint of Landlord and have the good fortune to live within staggering distance of a pub which has it on (and in good condition) most of the time - the Fox in Hanwell.
It is, as has been mentioned, an absolute nightmare to keep though. We've had it on for beer festivals at the small club bar I help run and it takes ages to sort itslef out. Having got to the peak of perfection, it then goes downhill fairly quickly too.
Ive heard stories of cellarmen wrapping hot towels round casks of Landlord to get the enzymes to activate and clear it down. Never resorted to thatmyself - just give it a loooong time on the stillage.
Cheers,
Martin
