Wirral Food&Drink Fest This Sun & Mon

Hi Folks, excuse the intrusion from a former ukfdra regular, I'm just trying to let foodies & beery-bods know about this food festival, farmers' market & mini beer-fest.

The beer marquee(*) will include 20+ cooled cask beers from most of the local craft-brewers, including newcomers Spitting Feathers (nr Chester), Station House (Ellesmere Port) & my own Betwixt Beer Co (Wirral - 'betwixt' Mersey & Dee). -

(+ Canavan's, Geo Wright, Wapping/BalticFleet, Cain's, CoachHouse & Northern)

Free entry to festival, small charge for beer glass.

(*) Well, the Wirral *is* known as 'the posh part' of Merseyside - we wouldn't have a beer tent ;~) Cheers, MikeMcG. (PS the deja email doesn't work, but the one on the betwixt site will) _____________________________________________________________________________ More info, directions, producers list, etc from the website -

Hi Peter,

by hook or by crook there will be beer Monday :~)

It's the first year of this & we really don't know how many will turn up & of those, how many will drink beer, but we have 20 x 9's on the Sunday, plus if needed another 7 in reserve for Mon, plus if we're really stuck I have a stall on the farmers' market & we'll raid that for bottle-conditioned beer (2 of mine & 2 from Northern).

My no. is on
