Of course there are hop seeds. They're just not something brewers want. Hop growers need them for breeding and cross breeding, but seeds can give brewers useless male plants.
Brewers want female plant rhizomes, to get the yummy, hoppy flowers we all love. I already pre-ordered mine; have you?

I know I'm joining this discussion a bit late at this point, but maybe you and others might still find this info useful. We have a large discussion group dedicated primarily to growing hops, but other discussion includes growing barley and brewing-herbs. It is essentially a combination gardening and brewing group, now with 990 members. We have a list of about 20 commercial sources of rhizomes, and are in the process of organizing a rhizome exchange between members. Recent discussions have including my vernalization experiment in which I have dug-up a an entire hop crown and am refrigerating it for six weeks before replanting, and a 'titration' process to help assess the alpha acid content of home grown hops. All homebrewers are welcome; if interested, please visit
Cheers.
