Can I make Sam Adams?

I'm new to home brewing. I was wondering if it's possible to make commercial beer like Sam Adams and Killans if you have the recipes. Make them with a home brew kit that's standard size. If so, would it cost a lot? Please e-mail me at this address with your answers. Thanks in advance for the help.

Can is not the question, but WHY? If you want Sam Adams, buy it.

Yes, you can, but it's not something recommended for new brewers. Both of those beers are lagers, which take more experience, equipment and time to brew. Stick with ales until you get your chops and equipment together.

Very true...it's been so long since I had a Sam Adams that it completely slipped my mind!
