Due to a cat who eats anything and notes that I cannot find, I find myself not knowing which Rhizome is planted where. Last year I planted a Sterling and a Nugget. I used all the crop in my latest batch which is currently lagering.
So I looked at the Sterling and Nugget Rhizome in the ground. They both look the same. However one of Rhizomes had quadrupled in length!! I had to trim it back. Both have shoots with leaves about 6 inches in length. One has lighter colored leaves. The other one has shoots that have a purple coloring at the end.
Any thoughts?
