Hi all, Looking at newbie kits from
Any and all advice is welcome.
Thanks, Lee
Just ordered my it from listermann, excellent price only $39 and free shipping. I plan on getting bottles from my friendly bar tender (no twist-offs).
Thank you and good night.

why no twist offs? Use them all the time with my bench capper and absolutley no problems, makes it much easier to have a beer if you don't have to hunt around for a opener
Seems there are different twist offs depending on where you live. Here in the US, they're generally too thin to be reusable (not always, though.) In other parts of the world, the glass is thicker and works better for reuse.

Just learn to open a beer with alternative things, like a sheat of paper, a chair, your bike, telly or rollerskate !! just to name a few things... :-)

Had a mate who used to open beer bottles with hs eye, sought of hooked under the bone at the top of the socket and popped off the top. Never asked him how or why he started doing this
I can do it with all those other things, but a sheet of paper? Howz that work?
nb
just fold it up the right way..
