OT: Aussie!

The beer relevance of the above posts is that Aussies are the major consumers of beer per male of drinking age (which may be 7 or 8 in OZ) in the world. Only France supasses them on alcohol since French children drink more wine than milk.

Hmmmm, I've never seen it broken down by the sexes before, but I know for a fact that Czech are the #1 beer drinkers and Germans #2.

I heard it second hand while I was stationed in Juneau, but supposedly Alaska population just over 1 mil (0.5% of US population) was responsible for over 25% of the total annual national consumption of alcohol for the US. Don't know how true it was but I know we did our fair share. :-)
